Revision & Intensification AAD XII

A period of practice, revision and deepening

AAD XII offers an intensive three-month period dedicated to reviewing, deepening and expanding our experience with the elements of Guitar Craft / Música en Movimiento.

This is not simply about acquiring new material. It is an opportunity to return to our practice, recognise what is already present, and discover new connections between its different elements.

AAD XII is open to practitioners at all levels — Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced — and provides an opportunity to establish a clearer, more consistent and deeper practice.

For those attending the Introduction to Guitar Craft & International Guitar Orchestra XII in Mendoza, AAD XII will also provide a framework for preparation and continuity. During that week, we will remain connected with those participating remotely, allowing the work to continue simultaneously as a shared experience.

A practice that continues

For those who have already been working with us on a sustained basis, this period offers something particularly important: the opportunity to establish a clear working schedule that allows our practice to continue developing and deepening.

Working from the experience and elements each participant already has, we will establish priorities and personal and group work agendas that are concrete, verifiable and sustainable over time.

The intention is to create the conditions for moving towards a deeper level of work.

The elements

Throughout these three months, we will work with the relationships and connections between the different elements of GC/MeM, including:

Guitar: review and updating of repertoire, calisthenics, scales and other elements of practice, with the aim of expanding and deepening our skills.
New repertoire: introduction of individual pieces and Guitar Craft repertoire.
Kitchen Craft: exploration and practice around our “three foods”.
Physical work: new sessions aimed at establishing and strengthening a physical practice through different disciplines, including Feldenkrais, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and flexibility work.
Inner work: exploration of themes related to attention, presence and the development of practice.
Morning Sitting and Extension Exercises: deepening our personal practice by working from what each participant has already established, using this as a foundation from which to continue expanding and refining the experience.

A shared experience

The AAD XII is not simply a series of online meetings.

Each participant is invited to work personally with the elements presented, attend the online AAD meetings with the team, and continue developing the material introduced during each session throughout the course.

Personal practice and group work are part of the same process.

Special guests will join us throughout the programme.

Who is it for?

return to and organise a practice they are already familiar with;
deepen their experience of the elements of Guitar Craft / MeM;
develop a more consistent personal practice;
introduce new repertoire and expand their resources on the guitar;
explore the connections between guitar, body, attention and inner practice;

There is no required level of proficiency. What matters is a willingness to practise, investigate and commit to the process.
