This residential project is an opportunity for those with some experience of the New Standard Tuning and work in the Guitar Circle to review and refine their practice both on and away from the guitar.
We shall focus on the principles of the Música en Movimiento approach to this work.
What will be presented in the course?
- Morning Sitting
- Work with the body (Tai Chi, Qi gong, Feldenkrais).
- The principles and practice of the Guitar Circle and the Guitar Orchestra.
- Calisthenics (Guitar Technique).
- Repertoire.
- The principles and practice of Performance.
The project is also open to those wishing to gain experience in our way of working with guitar and music, and to explore our relation to them both individually and together as a group. We shall see where we are and take it from there.
The project is offering a Performance preparation that will take place on Saturday 15th of February, and material presentation for further GC and MeM projects taking place later this year.
This gathering will be coordinated by David Rodriguez, Mike Grenfell and Luciano Pietrafesa with the local support of MeM Salta.
