The «Introduction to the Guitar Circle Practice» is a preparatory course for the «Introduction to Guitar Craft«, which will be directed by Robert Fripp in Peru in April 2026.
This course will provide an introduction to Guitar Craft Tuning, working in Guitar Circles, and both basic and advanced guitar techniques. Instruction will be given on acoustic guitars (metal strings) using a pick.
Luciano Pietrafesa, Daniel Ramirez, and Mike Grenfell will coordinate this introduction with local assistance from MeM Peru.
What will be covered in the course?
- Guitar Craft and Guitar Circle principles (GC)
- NST (New Standard Tuning)
- Calisthenic exercises and principles (Guitar technique)
- Initial Guitar Craft repertoire
- Bodywork (Tai Chi)
Who is this course for?
This introductory course is open to people of all levels of experience with the guitar, from beginners to professionals. The aim is to establish a relationship with the guitar, with music, with oneself and with others.
