This “Música en Movimiento” gathering summons people who have attended Música en Movimiento Gatherings and Introductions, or have NST/ Guitar Craft/ Circle experience, and wish to prepare themself for the upcoming Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists projects.
We will work with steel strings acoustic guitars with pick in both individual and group approaches, and in Guitar Orchestra format.
All the MeM elements will be present on the course: Guitar work (Calisthenics, Repertoire, Composition, Performance); Themes (Bring a Notebook); Morning Exercises; Body Work (Feldenkreis, Tai Chi, Pranayama, Qi Gong).
We will work on these elements in an integrated fashion within the context of a team community: Housework, Kitchen Craft, etc.
What we do and where we take it will be defined by the needs of the team.
Luciano Pietrafesa will present the principles on the Guitar, the Circle and the Orchestra.
Marcela Diez Leys, Feldenkrais instructor from the Euro-TAB (The European Training Accreditation Board) will present the principles of the Technique.
Vijaya Giri will present the principles of Pranayama. Tai Chi Chuan practice will also be available.
From the 31st of October to the 2nd of November the Guitar Orchestra will Tour in Mendoza Province.
Luciano Pietrafesa and Mike Grenfell will coordinate this Gathering with the local support of MeM Mendoza.
Itinerary:
Monday the 28th of October: Arrivals during the afternoon.
Thursday 31st to Saturday 2nd of November: «The Guitar Orchestra Tour in Mendoza.»
Sunday the 3rd of November: Departures at noon.
